Enthusiasts of sci-fi, who live in Japan, were amazed by this series, and many people became to pay tribute its author. Hideo Azuma was awarded the "Seiun Shoh" (literal translation = "Nebula Prize") for this work, by Japanese enthusiasts of sci-fi in 1979.
